The website of the RONDO Word Games has been launched!
The exciting word game is at long last on-line! The game, invented in 1993 by Izzy Abrahami, Robert Stel and Erga Netz and distributed as a board game all over the world (by companies such as Schmidt Spiele, Ravensburger, International Playthings, and more) is finally developed by Ronald Liauw (programmer) Oscar Casander (graphic designer). Vikki Ionushonis and Avihay Haim (graphic designers) gave it its Hebrew look.
The rules of the game are simple: You get 7 letter-cards. You start by creating a 3-letter word. Your opponent uses his/her cards to change your word. The word is changed when a letter is covered (you must always leave at least one letter uncovered)
You can also lengthen a word by adding a card in before the word or after it (Each turn the word can be lengthened by one letter only,) You can use the eraser cards to erase letters at the beginning of the word or at its end. You can use Joker cards as any letter, or as an eraser!
Each letter has a point-value and at each turn the total points of the word is added to your score. Are you the best RONDO player? Let’s see – choose your language and let the game start!
